"Angela has been my pilates instructor for several months when I went searching for someone to help me with chronic pain resulting from an auto immune disease that I have had for 27 years, and one which has been particularly aggressive in the past 4 years resulting in 4 major surgeries including a total knee replacement and repeat foot surgeries. My treating specialist suggested clinical pilates with a view to strengthening my core and body.

Angela impressed me from the start by investing the time initially to understand my individual needs and medical history and what I was hoping to achieve from my classes. She developed a program and exercises that are right for me and she has stretched me in what I initially thought that my body was capable of achieving. I have no doubt benefited from her knowledge, techniques that she has taught me and she has provided all-important encouragement to push myself. I've also appreciated being kept informed of my progress along the way.

Initially my clinical pilates was delivered as a private session but when the time was right, Angela approached me to say that she felt that I was ready to join a group session which to me felt like another positive step in my trajectory. In a relatively short timeframe, the benefits realised have already been great in that I feel stronger and more flexible which is helping me in all aspects of dealing with my condition. I am back to cycling, walking and continuing on with exercises at home to 'keep up the good work'. But there are many qualities that I like about Angela, in that she is a very good communicator (and listener) and is extremely likeable and personable too.

I would recommend Angela if, like me, you are looking for an instructor who can help you to achieve your fitness goals, be as well as you can be, achieve harmony in your life and be in better control of managing any pain.
